Great China-Venezuela Expo brought together companies from both countries to mark 51 years of bilateral relations

From July 4 to 6, 2025, the Great China-Venezuela Expo: "Building a Splendorous Future" was held at Simón Bolívar Park in La Carlota, Miranda state, organized to mark the 51st anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries (1974-2025).

The event brought together companies, investors, and government institutions from Venezuela and China to showcase advances in bilateral cooperation and explore opportunities in sectors such as technology, energy, trade, and infrastructure. The program included trade exhibitions, business roundtables, and cultural presentations.

Among the outcomes of the Expo was the signing of a memorandum of understanding for the joint development of artificial intelligence projects. Venezuelan agencies that took part included the Bolivarian Agency for Space Activities (ABAE), the Venezuelan Guayana Corporation (CVG), and the Ministry of Science and Technology, among others.
